The Right Crane for Every Lift

Tadano offers the broadest mobile crane product range in the industry — from compact city cranes to heavy-lift all-terrain and crawler models.

75 Years of Lifting Innovation and Reliability

Tadano pioneered Japan's first hydraulic truck crane in 1955 and acquired Demag Mobile Cranes in 2019 — combining Japanese precision with German engineering heritage. Today, every Tadano crane integrates our AML-C moment limiter, Smart Chart load management system, and comprehensive safety monitoring to protect operators and loads on every lift.

  • AML-C automatic moment limiter with real-time load monitoring
  • Smart Chart system: automatic load chart selection based on outrigger configuration
  • Sureslinger remote load indication for blind lifts
  • EU Stage V / EPA Tier 4 compliant engines across all product lines

Trusted by Leading Crane Operators

"Our fleet of Tadano GR-900XL rough terrain cranes has logged over 45,000 combined operating hours. The AML-C system gives our operators real-time confidence during critical lifts, and the resale value retention is the best in the segment."

Michael W.
VP Fleet Operations, Maxim Crane Works — USA

"We selected the Tadano AC 7.450-1 for our wind farm erection package. The 450t capacity with 120m main boom reached every hub height in our project specification. Road mobilisation between sites reduced our logistics cost significantly."

Henrik J.
Project Engineer, Vestas Wind Systems — Denmark

"Tadano's Smart Chart system eliminated manual load chart lookup errors on our jobsites. The system automatically selects the correct chart based on outrigger extension — a genuine safety improvement for our operations."

Yuki T.
Safety Director, Obayashi Corporation — Japan

Frequently Asked Questions

Rough terrain cranes use a single-engine design with 4x4 drivetrain, designed for off-road mobility on construction sites. All-terrain cranes feature a carrier with highway-speed axles and a superstructure with a separate lifting engine — capable of road-legal transit between sites and on-site lifting without support vehicles.

Load charts for all current Tadano crane models are available through our sales team. Submit your project requirements (lift weight, radius, boom configuration) and our application engineers will provide the relevant load chart along with a lifting study if needed.

Yes. Tadano provides certified operator training programs at our training centres in Japan, Germany, and the USA, as well as on-site training at your location. Programs cover safe operation, load chart interpretation, rigging fundamentals, and AML-C system operation.
